24-hour emergency plumbing in Torrevieja
A leak or a burst pipe does not wait until Monday. I handle plumbing emergencies 24 hours a day, at night and on public holidays, to stop the water, limit the damage and get the system safe again.

What I do
A plumbing emergency is any fault that cannot wait without causing damage: water that keeps coming out, a drain that overflows or a home left with no water. In those cases what matters is getting there, stopping the problem and explaining calmly what has happened.
24-hour emergency plumbing
In an emergency the first job is to stop the damage: finding the right stopcock, shutting off the supply to the affected area and stopping water from getting into walls, floors or the flat below. Then I assess the permanent repair calmly.
I bring the materials needed for the emergency repair and explain what is temporary and what should be replaced later. You get the quote in writing before the permanent work starts.
Leaks and burst pipes at any time
A pipe that bursts in the early hours or a joint that starts leaking under the sink are the most common emergencies. The sooner the water is shut off, the less damage there is to floors, furniture and ceilings, yours or your downstairs neighbour's.
If the pipe is concealed and you cannot see where the water comes from, I locate the point before opening anything. That way the emergency repair only affects the area that needs it, and you can decide calmly later whether a longer section should be replaced.
Blockages and overflowing drains
An overflowing toilet, a shower that will not drain or a sink that sends the water back up cannot wait several days. I clear the affected section and check that the rest of the system drains properly, so the problem does not come back the next night.
When a blockage keeps coming back or affects several fittings at once, it is usually in the main pipe or the manhole. In that case I check the whole run and tell you what should be done next.
No water, no pressure or no hot water
Losing water throughout the property can be caused by a fault in the supply connection, a stopcock that has failed or a problem with the booster set or the tank. I check each point until I find the cause.
If it is the hot water that has failed, I check the electric water heater and its connection. I tell you whether a repair is worth it or a replacement is better, always with a written quote before I start.
What to do until I arrive
If there is a leak, close the main stopcock of the property. If the water is near sockets or electrical appliances, also switch off the power at the fuse box. Move anything that could get wet and, if water is reaching the flat below, let the neighbours know.
If you cannot find the stopcock or it will not close, call me and I will help you find it over the phone. If you smell gas or there is any risk, leave the building and call 112 first.
Emergencies across Torrevieja
I attend emergencies in central Torrevieja and in its neighbourhoods and urbanisations, such as La Mata, Torreblanca, Los Balcones or Aguas Nuevas, as well as in Alicante. When you call, tell me where you are and what is happening and I will tell you when I can get there.
An emergency does not change the way I work: before the permanent repair I give you the price in writing, itemised, and if something unexpected turns up I explain it and we decide together.
When it is worth calling me
- Water coming from a pipe, joint or tap that will not stop
- A damp patch on the ceiling or wall that grows from one day to the next
- No water in the property or no pressure across the whole system
- A smell of gas or any risky situation: leave the building and call 112 first
How I fix it
- 1
I shut off the water at the right point to stop the leak as soon as possible.
- 2
I find the source with the right equipment and explain what is happening.
- 3
I repair it and give you the quote for the permanent work before going further.
