Bathroom and kitchen plumbing renovations in Torrevieja
A new bathroom or kitchen works well when the water supply and drains are done properly inside the walls. I handle the plumbing side of the renovation: shower trays, bath replacements, wall-hung toilets and kitchen connections.

What I do
In a renovation, the plumbing is decided before the tiling. That is why I plan with the customer where each connection goes, what fall each drain needs and what is worth replacing while the wall is open.
Plumbing renovations for bathrooms and kitchens
A new bathroom or kitchen works well when the plumbing behind it is done properly. I plan the water and drainage so the result lasts and the quote is clear.
Plumbing renovation covers the pipe routes, drain positions, the stopcock and the water points for each fitting. I decide these before tiling so there is no need to break anything afterwards.
You get an itemised quote: removing what is no longer needed, new plumbing, sanitaryware and taps. That makes comparing easy and lets you choose what to include within your budget.
Shower, shower tray and bath installation
A well-installed shower does not leak into the floor below or leave black joints. I fit the tray or bath with a level drain and correct sealing.
The key is the drain and the fall. A badly levelled tray holds water and eventually lets it seep through. That is why I check the trap, the base and the waterproofing before fitting the tray or bath.
I fit the taps, the drain and the sealing with suitable materials. You get a quote with the items separated: tray or bath, taps, drain and any building work needed.
Bath to shower tray conversion
Swapping the bath for a shower tray is the most requested bathroom change for accessibility and space. I do it with the removal, drain and waterproofing properly sorted.
The change means removing the bath, checking the drain and the base, and fitting the new tray with its fall. It is also the moment to correct any leaks in the bathroom and redo the waterproofing.
You get an itemised quote: removal, tray, taps, drain and any tiling or building work needed. That way you know what the price includes before you decide.
Wall-hung sanitaryware and concealed cistern installation
A wall-hung toilet with a concealed cistern keeps the floor clear and makes cleaning easier. I install it with the frame securely anchored and the wall finish properly done.
This type of installation uses a metal frame that holds the toilet and the cistern inside the wall. The height and depth of the wall must be calculated carefully before starting, because it cannot be corrected afterwards.
I build the frame, connect the cistern and drain, and explain how to access the mechanism for maintenance. The quote covers the plumbing and fitting, separated from the wall building work.
What is worth replacing during the renovation
With the wall open, it is the time to check the pipes that will be hidden, the bathroom or kitchen stopcocks and the fall of the drains. Replacing an old section now costs far less than lifting the tiles again in a few years.
I tell you what is fine and what is worth replacing, and I list it separately in the quote so you can decide what to include.

Frequently asked questions
Do you only do the plumbing or also fit the sanitaryware?
I do the plumbing and fit the sanitaryware and taps. If tiling or building work is done by another professional, I coordinate it with you.
How long does it take to fit a shower tray?
A simple installation takes a day. If tiling or the base has to be altered, I plan it and tell you how long it will take.
Can a bath be swapped in a single day?
In many cases yes, if the tray is prefabricated and little building work is needed. I give you the exact timescale when I quote.
Does a concealed cistern need building work?
Yes, the wall where the frame goes has to be opened. I coordinate it with the tiling and set out the extent of the work in the quote.
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
It depends on the scope. A small plumbing renovation is done in a few days; a full renovation takes longer and I plan it when I quote.
Do you fit low-profile shower trays?
Yes, as long as the drain and base allow it. I check on the visit before a tray is ordered.
Is it suitable for older people?
Yes. A level shower tray with a grab rail makes it easier to use. I explain the options based on what each household needs.
Can a wall-hung toilet go in an existing bathroom?
In most cases yes, if the wall has the necessary depth. I check on the visit before recommending a solution.
